There are three catagories of service I provide:
- Initial Studio Design:
- I first get to know you and find out what your ideal scene is as far as what you want to record, what your goals are, and how much of an investment you want to make.
- I then figure that against what gear you already own.
- From there I make a shopping list for you which includes the equipment, software and cabling you'll need. I'll even tell you where to shop to get the best deal.
- After the equipment is purchased, I'll set it up for you (with you there so you understand how it fits together.) I'll do all the initial software configuration, and then answer any questions you have in order to get going with it.
- One-on-one Consultations:
- I do one-on-one consultations with you in front of your equipment. I answer your specific questions by explanation, demonstration, and then have your do it yourself with me there to correct & perfect. In this I analyze your workflow and show you the most simple and efficient ways of getting your sound down.
- Internet Consultations:
- If you aren't in the Chicagoland area, I can answer questions and guide you through step by step procedures remotely by phone/email/etc.
